A Bay alumnus from the Class of 2019, Boris is back on campus after graduating from UC Berkeley. There, he studied under Dr. Coco Auerswald, an experience he calls "transformative." Through her mentorship and public health courses, he reconnected with a sense of purpose rooted in advancing change across education, healthcare, and our broader society. With her guidance of empathy and insight, she challenged Boris to think critically, act boldly, and trust his instincts - an impact he hopes to make in his own career. On a weekend, you can usually find Boris wandering the streets of San Francisco with his labradoodle, Cali, and a coffee in hand, road tripping through the state with friends, or sharing dinner and long talks with old and new faces.

Name of your future autobiography: An Ode to Valencia Street, Guatemala's Highlands and the Coffee Between, I'd love to write an autobiography made of many memoirs reflecting on my childhood on Valencia Street, and the traditions from Guatemala that built me. And coffee, of course!
