BS, Chemical Engineering, Cornell University
MS, Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Jay knows that math might not be everyone's cup of tea. Over the years, he's lost count of the conversations in which friends, parents, students and colleagues have told him they weren't "good" at math. That, combined with the constant broadcasting of the message that the world needs more qualified math teachers, drove him to pursue this career. He strives to make math as accessible and fun for his students, given the varying levels of interest in the subject. He believes that learning match allows a particular portion of the brain to be exercised, and it is better to exercise it than not!

Currently teaching: Analysis of Functions, Math 3, Infinite Geometries: The Art of Islam (Immersive)
