The Bay School's Alumni Community

The Bay School invites alumni and their families to stay engaged and connected online and in person. Here are a few ways to keep in touch and reconnect with teachers, fellow alumni, and students.

Join Bay WATCH

As a Bay alum, you are a member of a special group of individuals. Stay connected and leverage your network by joining Bay WATCH, our alumni network platform. Because it wouldn't be Bay without an acronym, WATCH stands for Welcome, Alums: Toast, Community, Happiness.

And it wouldn't be Bay without all of you, so join Bay WATCH and help us grow this community.

Reconnect through Morning Meetings, Immersives, and Senior Signature Projects

We welcome alumni who wish to come back and be present in the lives of current Bay students. If you'd like to speak at Morning Meeting, please contact Associate Head of School Lise Shelton. You're also welcome to just visit and get a bit of that Bay mindfulness practice, have some toast, and say hi to your teachers.

If you are interested in being a resource to our students, we would love to have you be part of our experiential learning opportunities, Immersives and Senior Signature Projects.

We introduced Immersives in fall 2018, fulfilling a long-held desire to create a program that would give our students the opportunity to really go deep. During Immersive terms, students take one class for three weeks (in January and June), often working with experts in a particular field. These terms culminate in a daylong exhibition of project presentations and artwork.

As the "end" of Bay's design-thinking arc, Senior Signature Projects deliver an impressive range of ideas and show our students' ability to approach problems and find a way forward.

If you are interested in serving as an SSP mentor or a resource to our Immersive courses, please contact Interim Dean of Academics and Innovation Laila Abdelal McClay

Social Media

Follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. Our LinkedIn alumni group is an especially relevant resource for alumni looking to build professional networks, and we post open Bay positions there. We'd be happy to reach out to any of our LinkedIn connections on your behalf; just let us know with whom you'd like to speak and what about.

Connect to Resources and Opportunities

If there's a way we could better serve you or if you'd like to become an alumni volunteer, please email Dorothy Jones. We'd love to hear from you!
