Events and Important Dates

During a Morning Meeting, we host simultaneous programs for you and your parents/guardians. You'll participate in our mission-central Morning Meeting, while your parents/guardians are invited to watch Morning Meeting and hear from school leadership. As you tour our school with Bay Student Ambassadors and participate in a student panel, you'll get real information about what it's like to go to Bay. Parents/Guardians will participate in a panel hosted by current Bay parents and staffulty to share insights about Bay's innovative academic programming and inclusive school community. This isn't a traditional high school "shadow visit" because we want both you AND your parents to experience Bay! Join us for a morning—we can't wait to meet you!

Events will be held on: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. 

Bay: An Insider's Look is designed for both you and your parents/guardians, and it's an excellent opportunity for you to participate in real classroom experiences! You'll join two 30-minute classes taught by members of our dynamic faculty! You'll meet Bay Student Ambassadors and teachers and see how we learn at Bay. While you're spending time in the classroom, parents are invited to tour the campus with Student Ambassadors and meet current parents and guardians, students, teachers, and administrators for informal conversations about Bay's academics, culture, and community.

What's Bay all about? Join us on Zoom for a conversation with school leaders, faculty, students, and alumni as they introduce Bay's dynamic academic process and co-curricular programs. You'll receive insightful information about how Bay approaches teaching, learning, and community life. This event offers an authentic look into how Bay's intentional program encourages critical and creative thinking skills, academic discernment and responsibility. There will be an opportunity to ask your questions and to learn about Athletics, College Counseling, Learning Services, and Student Life, as well as our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Belonging. This event is for prospective parents/guardians and students; families with multiple prospective students should register their students individually. We look forward to seeing you on Zoom!

At Bay, we're committed to issues of diversity, equity, and belonging as a core tenet of our school's mission. Join us to learn more from Bay community members about how we cultivate an environment of belonging. You'll hear directly from school leaders, students, parents/guardians, and faculty about how we support, collaborate with, and embrace ALL of our students at Bay. Small group discussions and panels will address ethnicity, family composition, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, learning profiles, and more. Everyone is welcome!

We know you have a lot on your plate as you make your way through the high school admissions process. Take advantage of our location in a beautiful national park and join Terry Pap, Bay’s Assistant Director of Admissions, for an informal walk in the Presidio. Meet some of your fellow applicant parents and a few current Bay parents/guardians as we take a mindful moment to slow down and enjoy the view. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress in layers, and by all means, bring your dog along! (*This event is weather-permitting.) 

This is an information-packed Zoom event designed to help you successfully finish your Bay school application. Amy Gonzales, our Director of Admissions and Flexible Tuition, will share important tips and strategies to complete your essay, confidently participate in your interview, and feel good about the application process. Bring your questions; we'll save time at the end of the presentation to answer them so you can use your application to show us who you are and why you will be a great addition to our community!

The Bay School of San Francisco is committed to serving students of all economic backgrounds, providing $3.2 million annually in Flexible Tuition grants. Join us to learn about the Flexible Tuition program at Bay and what information you need to apply. A flex tuition expert from Mission Enrollment will join Amy Gonzales, Bay's Director of Admissions and Flexible Tuition, for a Zoom discussion to walk you through the process. You'll be able to learn about our flexible tuition program and the steps you'll take to apply successfully. We'll have time for questions and answers at the end of the session, so join us and other applicant families, and we'll figure it out together. We'll see you on Zoom!

Students! Join us for an informal evening at Bay to play some games and hang out with some current Bay students and faculty. Like to shoot hoops? Is Jenga your vibe? Anyone for Apples to Apples? Meet us in the Great Room at Bay, and bring your game face. Let's game on!

Join the Bay community as we celebrate and honor our arts program and students! The evening will begin with an overview of the Arts curriculum, and then we'll break out for an evening of art, performance, creativity, and design. From the visual arts to our voice classes, you'll learn more about our program directly from our arts and design students as they proudly share and discuss their work. We'll also showcase theater, vocal, and jazz band performances and films directed and produced by Bay students. The Arts are an essential part of Bay's curriculum and culture.
