Now in her sophomore year at Ohio Wesleyan University, Ella Lazare '23 recently participated in OWU Connection, traveling to Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana to explore her areas of interest within different African contexts. An avid science student throughout high school, Ella had a thrilling experience her senior year in Honors Biology with Hayden Shea. After performing a specialized dissection, she determined that she would study animal reproductive science in college, a lightbulb moment she noted specifically in her graduation speech.
