At Bay, everything revolves around you—your interests, your growth, your voice.
Student life at Bay starts with a simple but powerful belief: you are at the center of your own experience. Bay is designed around and for our students—their interests, creativity, academic needs, and well-being.
What makes life at Bay special is how effectively we build relationships to create a strong community where every student can find their place and voice. Whether you're passionate about social justice, technology, arts, athletics, or simply bringing joy and fun to school life, opportunities to participate and start your own initiatives are everywhere.
From informal daily interactions to structured leadership roles, from advisory discussions to community events, Bay creates space for you to grow into the person you're meant to become—while building lasting friendships and gaining the confidence to make a positive impact in the world.
"Somehow, Bay pulls out the best in all of us." —Caleb '27
Advisory: Your Home Base
Every student belongs to an advisory—a close-knit group of 8-9 students and a staffulty member who meet weekly, becoming each other’s primary support system at Bay.
Your advisor serves as much more than just an adult in the room—they're your advocate, listener, and bridge between you, your family, and the school. Advisors act as story holders—trusted adults who help students reflect on their growth, navigate challenges, and celebrate milestones. They, along with our grade-level class deans, also partner closely with families and collaborate with the broader student support team to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and empowered during their time at Bay.
You're never without support here—whether you need academic help, personal guidance, or someone to advocate for you, our class deans, Student Support Specialist, Academic Support Coordinator, and counselors are all in your corner, ready to help you succeed and thrive. Learn more about them.
Co-Curricular Classes

Student Leadership
Bay recognizes that positive and effective leadership comes in many forms—you don't have to look, act, or think a certain way to be a leader. We cultivate an environment where students lead both informally and formally every day.
Everyday Leadership
Whether you're speaking at Morning Meeting, offering feedback during conferences, or starting conversations in clubs and affinity groups, you're encouraged to share your experiences and lead by example. Your voice matters and helps inspire others in our community.
