Four mornings per week, Bay students, faculty and staff come together for Morning Meeting in the Great Room. During Morning Meeting, students and staffulty share mindfulness practice as well as presentations, personal stories, and announcements. On any given morning, you may watch students perform original poetry or music, learn about student projects in courses including The Creative Process, Research in the Community, Immersives, and Senior Signature Projects, enjoy the jazz band playing, or listen to a community member speak about an issue of personal importance. Morning Meeting is an essential part of the Bay experience and a great way to start the day.
River '18 gave an inspired Morning Meeting talk about his experience as a member of the O'NK AKIMEL O'ODHAM tribe.
Science teacher David Friedlander-Holm gave a talk about the value of failure to the Bay community. Watch Mr. Friedlander-Holm discuss his journey of documenting the Total Solar Eclipse in August and the valuable ways in which he failed.
