Why did you choose to attend The Bay School?
I chose to attend the Bay School because of the opportunities for both sports, arts, and academics. I wanted a school where I could do lots of different activities, not just specialize in one. Sports are really important to me because they offer a way to get really close with my team and let me release stress through exercise. Theatre is really important to me because it lets me be creative and work towards a larger goal while taking risks.

What has been your favorite class taken at Bay?
My favorite class was Biology 1a. I am really interested in medicine and learning all about the body systems, and how each of them work and are interconnected was really interesting to me.

What is your favorite part of the Bay community?
We each have each other's backs. Everyone at Bay is extremely supportive and wants each other to succeed. This connection between students is really valuable, and helps you get through the year with a smile on your face.

What has been your most memorable experience at Bay?
My most memorable experience at Bay was research in the community night. In Research in the Community, you work on one essay and presentation for the whole trimester. Being able to put that on display was extremely rewarding.

What is one thing you have learned about yourself during your time at Bay? How has Bay helped your discover that?
The largest thing I have learned about myself is how to accept when you can't do anything more. Sophomore year you receive a lot of long projects, and at the end of the day once you turn it in you can't change it. The largest thing I have learned is how to accept that.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering Bay?
Choose the right school for you - find a place where you will be happy and can grow.
