An engaging calculus class sparked Kim’s interest in math, and incredibly supportive professors at Pomona College inspired her to teach with a focus on developing students’ understanding and appreciation of math. After working with students through summer programs and AmeriCorps, Kim began teaching with the San Francisco Teacher Residency program through Stanford. She loves the innovative community at Bay. Outside of teaching, she enjoys hiking to beautiful views and waterfalls. Growing up in Singapore influenced her appreciation of cooking and eating delicious food.
