Michael Galindo - Assistant Director of Admission
B.A., Psychology - Dominican University of California
M.S., Education - Dominican University of California
After watching way too many episodes of Law & Order S.V.U., Michael wanted to be just like Dr. Wong and become a Forensic Psychologist. However, when he started college he became extremely involved in the Admissions and Student Life departments. Little did he know that he as being bitten by the Higher Ed bug, he was finding his passion in working with students. When Michael decided to continue his education post-grad, he focused on education with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. Michael joined the Admission department at Bay in July 2017, after spending seven years as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Dominican University of California in Marin. He is excited to be a part of a community that thrives in authenticity and mindfulness. Michael has taken advantage of living in the Bay Area and considers himself adventurous in trying new restaurants, hikes, and activities. So far his favorites include Cha Cha Cha (San Francisco), the hike to Pt Reyes, and shopping at the Treasure Island Flea Market. When Michael is not out exploring the Bay Area, he can be found watching his favorite shows or reading his favorite books.
