Tony joined The Bay School in 2007 as the school’s first Dean of Faculty and he returned to full-time Spanish teaching in 2011. Tony joined Bay because he was impressed by the quality of the faculty and the school’s mission and because he was excited about working at a new and innovative school. Tony writes, “what I have come to value most about being part of the Bay community are the close student-teacher relationships and how students treat each other with respect, affection, and generosity.” Tony is the father of Sophie (class of 2017) and he’s an avid golfer and bonsai enthusiast. His wife Jodi is a seventh-grade humanities teacher at San Francisco Friends School.
