Ted Andersen - Arts
B.A., Studio Art & Art History, University of California, Berkeley
M.F.A., Painting, Temple University
A resident of the Estrero Americano watershed in Northwest California, Ted's artistic inquiry is centered on an engagement with the Wild. Whether he is wading into undammed rivers, stumbling through Old Growth forests, or tackling puzzling conundrums with his students in the creative studio -- it all feeds his ongoing paintings and drawings. Prior to The Bay School, Ted has taught at California College of the Arts and UC Davis, and he was a founding faculty member at The Oxbow School. You can view his website at www.tedandersen.com
where multiple examples of his artwork reside, including one painting he has been devoting his practice to for twenty-five years (and counting). Ted's favorite color is water.
