Wendy joined Bay in 2019 as an experienced Educational Technology integrator, Digital Literacy Specialist, Teacher, and Technology Leader. She has over 15 years of experience supporting faculty in K through Higher Ed with technology integration, digital literacy/identity, multimedia creation, and advancing innovative pedagogical practices. Prior to joining Bay, Wendy was an instructional technologist and First-Year Experience instructor at Trinity University in San Antonio, served as Bank Street School for Children's educational technologist, and worked as a teacher and technology integrator in the NYC public schools for 6 years. Prior to her career in education, Wendy spent 4 years supervising a support desk for a startup company in Boston. Wendy is passionate about student engagement, connecting learning experiences to learning outcomes, helping faculty and students to feel comfortable and confident using teaching and learning technologies, and the success of all students. When she isn't experimenting with new teaching and learning technologies, Wendy enjoys finding trails to capture photos and videos of birds, especially parrots, and exploring new cities by bicycle with her tiny dog, Cornelia.
