Why did you choose to attend The Bay School?
I choose to attend The Bay School because I really liked the kids that I visited with. They were very interesting, and the community felt welcoming. I thought the curriculum and classes were very interesting too.

What has been your favorite class taken at Bay?
My favorite class at Bay has been the Engineering class. In this class, we built three projects that showed how well we dealt with pressure and a deadline. We got to use the shop equipment to build the project that we thought would best fit the description and do the task. The teacher was very knowledgeable, and he would help us think through our ideas and improve upon them.

What is your favorite part of the Bay community?
My favorite part of the Bay community has been the way the teachers interact with the students. They are very open to feedback and discussion. The teachers also are very helpful during tutorial when we can come to the to get help on projects, homework, or just talk.

What has been your most memorable experience at Bay?
My most memorable experience has been Morning Meetings that were written and presented by seniors.

What is one thing you have learned about yourself during your time at Bay? How has Bay helped you discover that?
I have learned that reflection is really helpful. Although it might seem tedious, in the long run reflection helps with improving the way I learn. Bay has helped me because they have us reflect at every turn.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering Bay?
At Bay the student body really feels like a family where everyone is friendly with each other. The school also puts a lot of decision making power in the hands of students, and it is very nice in high school to have more responsibility.
