Why did you choose to attend The Bay School?
I chose to attend Bay because of the unique curriculum style. The project based learning format was exactly what I wanted, and this sealed the deal for me.
What has been your favorite class taken at Bay?
My favorite class has been Islam. I took it last trimester of junior year, and it was one of the most eye-opening classes I have ever taken. It was challenging, interesting, and most of all, it taught me about things I never knew.
What is your favorite part of the Bay community?
People are not afraid to express themselves in their own way at Bay.
What has been your most memorable experience at Bay?
Kraft Mac n Cheese at 3 am in Yosemite with some Sprite and BBQ chips.
How has Bay prepared you for college and life beyond?
Going into my senior year, I feel like a different person compared to my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I feel more grown up, and far more mature than I used to be. I think that Bay's help of exposure to outside activities such as internships, sports, and intersession/immersives helps you excel and grow, making you a well rounded person.
What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering Bay?
Take every opportunity that Bay gives you.
