Why did you choose to attend The Bay School?
I chose to attend Bay because of the proximity to where I live, the opportunities it offers, and the welcoming community.

What has been your favorite class taken at Bay?
My favorite class has been Hip-Hop Culture, Politics, and Production. I loved this class because of its fun curriculum and mix of arts and humanities. I was able to experiment with the arts of MCing, producing, dance, and graffiti while exploring interesting sources about hip-hop culture and the history behind it. All this, along with the camaraderie with my classmates, made it unforgettable.

What is your favorite part of the Bay community?
Simply that it's a true community. Everyone here cares about each other and wants to see each other do well.

What has been your most memorable experience at Bay?
My most memorable experience has been getting to know all kinds of different, amazing people here.

How has Bay prepared you for college and life beyond?
At Bay, not only have my academic skills grown exponentially, but I've grown so much socially and as a person. Bay understands that high school is a time not only to learn valuable information in a classroom setting, but to mature as a human being and to make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. I'll leave Bay as a well-rounded student, but also as a person who got to meet a ton of fantastic people in high school and grew a lot from that.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering Bay?
Don't hesitate to apply! You will find your people, pursue your passions, and have a wonderful time here.
