Bay Family Association

Welcome to a new year at The Bay School of San Francisco! We are looking forward to a year of collaboration in which immerse ourselves in all that it takes to support Bay’s dynamic education.

With the new year, we are also pleased to announce the new name of our organization. Formerly known as the Parent Guardian Association (PGA), we are now the Bay Family Association (BFA). It is our belief that “Bay Family Association” more accurately reflects our intention that we include all members of the Bay family in the work that we do to build community. “Family” is intended to be the broad definition - a grouping of people with the common interest of cultivating and nurturing our Bay community. This includes parents, domestic partners, guardians, grandparents, students, staffulty, and all others engaged in the work of fostering an environment that is innovative and engaging and which unlocks our individual and collective potential.

We have been thrilled with the response to our request for volunteers to help build our community and support our school. If you haven’t had a chance to complete the survey, please do so here. The BFA is ours to build and celebrate.

Our BFA Mission is:
  • to cultivate and nurture a close sense of community and inclusion
  • to educate, engage, and activate parents and guardians in support of Bay
  • to appreciate and support the innovative and dedicated staffulty at Bay

We welcome a dynamic sharing of information - we’d love to hear from you.
