Morning Meeting

Each day at The Bay School begins with students, faculty and staff coming together for Morning Meeting in the Great Room.

It's a 20-minute time to share news, new ideas and personal stories. On any given morning, you may hear a student reading original poetry, a small group presenting on Senior Signature Projects, the jazz band playing or a student or faculty member speaking about an issue of personal importance. After that, we settle in for a few minutes of quiet reflection meant to strengthen our mindfulness practice individually and as a community. The final few minutes are reserved for all-school announcements about athletics, clubs, service events, birthdays and special honors.

Each Morning Meeting is different. Everyone leaves the room feeling part of our inclusive community. It's a great way to start the day.
