Campus Visit and Interview
If you are interested in visiting the Bay School, please call us at 415.513.4000.

Please note: Although we try to accommodate as many students as possible, visit appointment times are limited. Campus visits are not required to apply for admission, and enrollment decisions will not be affected by whether or not a student has attended a campus visit.

Interviews are required for all applicants. The Bay School prioritizes interviewing those students who have submitted Part I of their applications. When we have received Part I of the application and the application fee, we will call applicants to schedule their interview.

Test Registration (Freshman applicants only)
Although our preferred test is the SSAT, we do accept scores from any of the tests listed below. If you plan to submit scores from a test other than the SSAT, please contact the Admission Office.

  • SSAT: Register online at www.ssat.org or request a registration booklet from the Admission Office. Please be sure to designate the Bay School (code #1500) on the test form.
  • ISEE: Register online at www.erbtest.org.

  • High School Placement Test (HSPT)
