Our Visit Program - 2010-2011
Scheduling Your Student Visit:
Hopefully you have had the chance to explore our website and get to know our school. If you would like to schedule a student visit to Bay, please submit the completed parent Part I and the Bay School visit supplement form, which will be available for download in mid-August.
(Please note: The application fee is not due until January 13, and only for those applicants also completing Part II of the application.)
You can return the completed form to us in one of three ways:
- Mail it to 35 Keyes Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129
- Email it as an attachment to admission@bayschoolsf.org
- Fax it to 415.561.5808 (Attn: Admission Office)
These forms help us improve the quality of the student visit and facilitate the visit scheduling process. When we have received both the completed Part I and the supplement form, we will contact you to set up a student visit.
In the meantime, please consult our student visit calendar below (black bolded dates are available visit dates) and be ready with a few preferred dates for when we contact you. We will try our best to accommodate your preferred choices, though please be advised that at times we limit the number of visitors to campus because of host availability or academic calendar restrictions. We appreciate your understanding.

Note: In order to accommodate as many applicants as possible, we will be scheduling all 1st trimester visits before we begin scheduling December and January visits. Visit space is limited, so if you are unable to make your scheduled visit, we cannot guarantee a rescheduled visit; however, admitted applicants who did not have a chance to visit during the regular season will be able to visit before enrollment contracts are due.
Also, please note that we are able to accommodate rescheduled visits if we receive your request in ample time to fill your original spot. Otherwise, we will gladly place you on our visit waitlist.
What to Expect During Your Student Visit:
During the student visit, applicants will have the opportunity to visit two classes and be provided with a healthy, delicious lunch. The visit time is 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your visit so you have time to get settled. Please have your parent/guardian drop you off at the administrative entrance (3rd entrance on the left) where you will be directed to the admission office waiting room.
Student Interview:
Student interviews are required of all applicants. When we schedule you for a student visit, we will also set up an interview time for you on one of our interview days.
The interview includes a brief conversation with an admission staff or faculty member as well as a short writing sample. If you have a learning difference that requires you to use a computer for the writing sample, please let us know on the visit supplement form.
