A Learning Community Looking to the Challenges
and Opportunities of Tomorrow

At the Bay School, learning means using knowledge to make connections—between traditional academic disciplines, between students and teachers, between the school and the outside community, between the past and the future.

The Bay School of San Francisco, opened in 2004, and was founded at a unique time in history…at the threshold of the 21st century. Our challenging college preparatory curriculum places emphasis on science and technology, ethics, and world religions—areas of understanding that are fundamental in preparing students for their futures as successful students at demanding colleges, and as engaged citizens of an interrelated global society.
